Milano 1997
It's 50 years now. Everyone was waiting for it. Of course the organizers for a such important date had to be the Italians. I am a little disappointed as it takes place in Milan, only 300 km. from home and not the best place to show to foreigners. Italy is full of beautiful towns, but I understand that our beloved scooters are born there. I decide to go by myself on my SX 200 and in only four hours I'm there. What I see is somethng unbelievable: they tell me there are 1300 people attending the Jamboree from I can say every part of the World.
We can argue for hours on the organisation of the event, but what I think remains of it is the importance of celebrating 50 years from the achievement of the idea that have marked in a big way many milions of lifes'.
