I
have always fancied a Lui 50, probably because I am long time old and need
to slow down. Yes probably. Fact is these little machines are so clean
and simple that their design has become timeless. But it's so bloody slow.
Who cares, me and the crew are planning some long distance trips on them
for the coming future.
This
one I have purchased recently in very good original condition, and has
been treated to a full 'conserved' resto; engine completely rebuilt, using
a 65cc piston conversion, 3 plates clutch usually mounted on later models
or some J range machines, full cables service. That's all, all the hard
to find bits where there such as the rear light unit and air filter. |
