Scooter model - SX225 Supertune Avanti 

The bike in Darrell's words: 
I have been in contact with the original owner who has confirmed it's history................ it's 1 of only 3 Supertune Avanti 225s that were built based on an SX 150 (to keep costs down), it has an unstamped TV200 engine modified to 225 spec, Amal Mk1, SX150 gearbox, high compression head, extra cooling added to head cowling, 12V conversion with the zenner diode fixed behind the mag housing to aide cooling. 200 forks, disc brake reverse pull which works amazingly well and a 90mph speedo. The original owner also fitted the Ancilloti Elvington seat which he purchased from Roys of Hornchurch in about 1969/70. 
  
Hopefully I will be getting some original spec sheets, stickers etc... from the original owner who has them somewhere in his house !!!
