Owner: Ian Kells
Scooter Model: 1979 GP
125
Engine: Imola 185 Kit
Modifications/extras:
Tthis GP was built in the winter of 2003 after swapping it for a Vespa......the
paint was done by a very old friend, Mick O`Donahue who owns Micx Paint
shack, a very quick turn around and a quality job, many thanks for advice
and help from my old mate Richard Lawrence of Bedlam Scooters who also
sponsored and supplied every thing on the scooter.
It is an Indian built
1979 GP125 which is fitted with an Imola 185 kit..since the photos were
taken the horn grill and frame grill have been changed for polished aluminium
items and the exhaust changed from a Mk 1 Imola snail to a JL KRP 2 expansion..gearing
is LI 150 16/46 and is fitted with a Delorto PHBH 30mm carb and electronic
ignition, and a std disc brake set up. This scooter is always having bits
upgraded and has been great fun.
top speed about 70mph
and cruising about 60mph...not too fast but it gets there!
