1965 TV 200

This scooter has been a very long rolling project. Found in 2004 in a very sorry state, by the winter the engine had been rebuilt. I know for most this will not be the kind of style you would expect on this website, but a proper Mod scoot had been a dream for me in the early days and I really wanted one in my collection. Also because I consider the TV200 the king of mod scoots.
All the accessories you see on the scooter have been collected over the years, most of which are NOS. To list them we have a Vigano Flute embellisher, Super fork covers, Super 'flag series' footboard extensions, Nannucci twin pipe outrigger exhaust, Vigano double legshields trim, Motoplas flyescreen, Lucas rear light unit for the American market.
Thanks to Dean, my business partner, who when it's down to Mod scooters knows exactly how to do it right, the paint scheme has been chosen and most of the scooter has been rebuild as, to put it in his words 'I wasn't Mod enough to do it right'.
The scooter has got a standard engine, I have used all GP parts in the engine and original 66.0 Borgo piston and Innocenti Barrel, the lights are breeded by a modified 12v 180w Ducati points stator and Lucas heat sink, carb is a 22/2 Dellorto.
This picture has been taken during the 2008 Isle of Wight rally, but at this very moment the scooter is going to be completed; a front crashbar has been mounted together with a lot of mirrors and more lights, the seat - an original Sat Torino - has been replaced by a flatbase one and an original 60s three in one carrier is going to be fitted so watch this space for more pictures and information about this scooter soon!
