Lambretta Special X 200
 Update April 14, 2004
The bike as been completely rebuilt, though as it was before; new paint job, new engine rebuild as per standard spec. I am reporting the mail Eddie sent me with the new pics of the bike:

At last here are the pic’s of  my sx now it’s finished,it doesn’t look much different but the spec for the scoot is ,engine compl;etly standard exhaust standard 12volt electronic in tool box with 6 volt coil and rectifier on show 
Also compressor for air horns in tool box, footboard extn’s from racing lambretta’s .com cheers mate, twin lucas spotlamps all rubbers fork springs bushes etc from Rimini Lambretta Centre cheers Dean. I have done about 50 miles so far and I am amazed how responsive the engine is in standard form any speed any gear and it pulls very well (I must keep the speed down LOL)

Inspiration for building scooter ; Always wanted sx200 but could never afford one; waited 30 years for this scooter! Based on scooters we raced and used for work in the 60s. 
Engine ; Original 200 engine with 26 ml Dell'Orto carburettor, 48ml exhaust, electronic ignition, reworked ports. 
Paintwork ; Met green and cream.  
Extras ; Lucas spotlights. 
Top/cruising speed ; top not known, cruising 50-55 mph never had bike flat out. 
Hardest part of the project ; Not scratching it 
Time to build ; three months from start to finish. 
What other scooter do you have ? ; 1969 SX 150 one day to be built. 
Anything you'd like to say ; scooter used daily for work summer and winter.
