An Original early Production DL150
A beautifully preserved one owner from new DL150 that still retains several rare early-production details, carefully conserved during a complete sympathetic restoration.

Mi è stata assegnata la custodia di questa meravigliosa Lambretta dal suo primo proprietario, Giuseppe, che nel tempo è diventato anche un caro amico.
La Lambretta era già bellissima di per sé, ma ho deciso di smontarla completamente, pulirla e revisionarla in ogni sua parte, come si può vedere dalle fotografie di questa pagina.
Aveva percorso pochissimi chilometri e proprio per questo oggi la sensazione è quella di guidare una Lambretta appena uscita dalla fabbrica Innocenti.
La particolarità di questo esemplare è che appartiene alla primissima produzione della DL150.
Per questo motivo ho trovato ancora montato il famoso soffietto con sfiato, un componente diventato ormai rarissimo.
Ho fatto tutto il possibile per conservarlo e, fortunatamente, sono riuscito a riutilizzare il pezzo originale durante il restauro.
Molto insolito è anche il paraurti anteriore Viganò, specifico per questo modello di Lambretta e montato in un periodo in cui gli accessori stavano ormai passando di moda.
Conservare questi dettagli originali era molto più importante che sostituirli con ricambi nuovi.

I've been entrusted with this fantastic Lambretta by its original owner, Giuseppe, who has also become a very good friend over the years.
The scooter was already in excellent condition, but I decided to strip it completely, clean every component and carry out a full mechanical overhaul, exactly as shown in the photographs on this page.
It had covered very little mileage and today it genuinely feels like riding a brand-new Lambretta straight out of the Innocenti factory.
The special feature of this scooter is that it is an early production DL150.
It still retains the famous draining air hose, a detail that has become extremely rare today.
I did everything possible to preserve it and fortunately managed to reuse the original part during the restoration.
Another unusual detail is the Viganò front mudguard bumper, an accessory made specifically for the DL model at a time when the era of Lambretta accessories was already coming to an end.
Preserving these original period details was far more important than replacing them with reproduction parts.
