A Genuine Electronic from the Last Innocenti Production
One of the last Lambrettas produced by Innocenti before production ended, restored with the philosophy that has always guided my collection: preserve originality and keep every scooter on the road.

Questa Lambretta è entrata nella mia collezione dopo una bellissima domenica trascorsa a Trieste nell'autunno del 1992.
Già il suo ritrovamento è una storia a sé, ma la giornata trascorsa per andare a ritirarla è uno di quei ricordi che rimangono impressi per sempre.
Quando la trovai era stata riverniciata completamente di bianco... tranne le fiancate. Non sono mai riuscito a capire il motivo di quella scelta.
Era però perfettamente funzionante e decisi di utilizzarla esattamente così com'era, senza restaurarla.
Per quindici anni mi ha accompagnato sulle strade d'Italia e d'Europa, partecipando a raduni e viaggi, accumulando chilometri e mostrando con orgoglio tutti i segni delle sue avventure.
Nel 2007 decisi che era arrivato il momento di riportarla completamente alle specifiche originali Innocenti.
Il restauro è stato realizzato utilizzando moltissimi ricambi originali di fondo di magazzino (New Old Stock), cercando di mantenere ogni dettaglio il più fedele possibile alla produzione del 1971.
L'unica concessione che mi sono permesso è stata montare una sella destinata alle versioni Electronic per il mercato inglese, un accessorio originale Innocenti che ho sempre trovato particolarmente elegante.
Da allora ha già partecipato nuovamente a numerosi raduni, sempre seguendo la filosofia che caratterizza il mio modo di collezionare: usare gli scooter, non nasconderli.

This Lambretta entered my collection after a wonderful Sunday spent in Trieste during the autumn of 1992.
Finding the scooter is a story in itself, but the day spent collecting it is something I will remember for the rest of my life.
When I found it, it had been repainted white... except for the side panels. I have never understood why.
It was in perfect running condition, so I simply put it on the road and enjoyed it exactly as it was.
For the next fifteen years it travelled with me across Italy and Europe, attending rallies and touring thousands of kilometres, proudly wearing every mark earned on the road.
By **2007** those battles had left their mark, and I decided it deserved a complete original restoration.
The restoration was carried out using as many New Old Stock Innocenti parts as possible, preserving every original detail wherever it could be saved.
The only alteration I allowed myself was fitting a seat originally intended for the English-market Electronic models, a genuine Innocenti accessory that perfectly suits the scooter.
Since then it has already completed many more rallies, always following the philosophy that defines my collection: use them, don't hide them.
Restoration Philosophy
Every restoration in my collection follows the same principle: conserve originality whenever possible, use genuine Innocenti parts whenever they can still be found, and keep every scooter ready to be ridden rather than displayed as a museum object.
This DL200 Electronic perfectly represents that philosophy.
