Trovata casualmente nel 2019 mentre stavo cercando una Lambretta economica da usare tutti i giorni, questa perla è apparsa improvvisamente in vendita.

Quando l'ho comprata aveva soltanto 14.000 chilometri ed era totalmente originale, oltre che in condizioni davvero perfette.

Per un paio d'anni l'ho utilizzata esattamente così com'era, senza toccare assolutamente nulla.

Solo recentemente ho deciso di dedicarle un po' di manutenzione, revisionando completamente il motore e sostituendo cavi e guaine, facendo molta attenzione a mantenere i diversi colori originali utilizzati da Serveta.

Ho montato anche un'accensione elettronica, ma seguendo lo spirito che mi accompagna da sempre nei restauri.

Invece di utilizzare un componente moderno ho scelto una Motoplat originale, proprio quella utilizzata sulle Serveta di produzione più recente.

Il risultato è uno scooter estremamente affidabile, che continua ad essere usato esattamente per il motivo per cui è stato acquistato.

Una Lambretta da usare ogni giorno, non da tenere chiusa in garage.

I found this scooter completely by accident in 2019, while I was looking for an cheap Lambretta for everyday use.

This little peach suddenly appeared for sale.

When I bought it, it had covered only 14,000 kilometres and was completely original as well as being in excellent condition.

I rode it for a couple of years exactly as I found it, without touching anything.

Only recently did I decide to give it a little TLC, rebuilding the engine and replacing both inner and outer cables while carefully preserving the original colour coding used by Serveta.

I also fitted an electronic ignition, but following the philosophy that has always guided my restorations.

Instead of fitting a modern system, I chose a genuine Motoplat ignition taken from later-production Serveta models.

The result is an incredibly reliable scooter that I genuinely use for the purpose it was bought for.

An everyday Lambretta is always happier on the road than hidden away in a garage.
