Euro Lambretta in Austria
St. Wolfgang, in the Austrian Salzkammergut, provided another spectacular mountain setting for the 1995 Euro Lambretta meeting. Surrounded by lakes and alpine scenery, it became another memorable stop in the growing history of Euro Lambretta gatherings.
Dei primi Euro Lambretta questo è quello a cui ho partecipato in maniera più distaccata.
Mi ero già accordato con Frans per trasportare le nostre Lambretta assieme, visto che come al solito era già in vacanza dalle mie parti, altrimenti non credo che avrei partecipato.
Il motivo era tutto sportivo, in quanto nell'accesissimo torneo estivo di calcio dei bar del mio paese, io ed i miei amici eravamo arrivati in finale e non mi volevo perdere la partita, ma ho dovuto farlo per gli impegni che avevo già preso con Frans.
Ad ogni modo i miei amici e compagni di squadra hanno vinto la partita anche senza di me, per cui forse non ero così importante.
La località dove si è svolto il raduno è incantevole e la partecipazione è stata come al solito ottima.
Of all the early Euro Lambretta jamborees, this was the one I attended with the least enthusiasm.
I had already arranged with Frans to transport our Lambrettas together since, as usual, he was already vacationing in my area, otherwise I don't think I would have gone.
The reason was purely sporting: my friends and I had reached the final of the highly competitive village bar football tournament, and I didn't want to miss the match, but I had to because of the commitments I had already made to Frans.
In any case, my friends and teammates won the match even without me, so perhaps I wasn't all that important.
The location where the rally took place was enchanting, and the turnout was excellent, as always.
